These earrings feature Kazuri beads.
Kazuri, which means “small and beautiful” in Swahili, is a style of ceramic bead crafted in Kenya. Kazuri beads are made from clay dug by hand from the rich earth of Mount Kenya, then hand-shaped and painted, one carefully-crafted piece at a time.
This polka dot pair of earrings measures just about 2.5” long. It features jade and java glass beads. These earrings weigh in at about 0.2 oz per earring.
